Television Sux Writes About Equal Rights And Sean Penn’s Acceptance Speech for Milk
25 Mar, 2009 in fnord, sadhana and dharma, wisdomMy dear Youdopians, this is a cross post from my dear friend, whom I’ve know for thirty years. Television Sux is his blog, and this is a post from it.
I have been wanting to post this for some time. Now here it is.
“Thank you, you commie, homo-loving sons-of-guns. I did not expect this,” Penn joked as he took the stage at the Oscars. He used the time to talk about equal right in the United States, based on the resent Ban of Gay marriage in California. “I think that it is a good time for those who voted for the ban against gay marriage to sit and reflect and anticipate their great shame and the shame in their grand children’s eyes if they continue that way of support,” he said. “We’ve got to have equal rights for everyone.” Television Sux agrees that equal rights is important. Even if you don’t agree with the rights given. That is not the point. The point is equal rights.

Thanks for the Promo Yudopia. I appreciate your support.
