Hello, Youdopia. How’s it going? In light of the recent Jeff Beck Hall of Fame post, featuring Mr Jimmy Page, I thought it apropo to post this video of a spectacular reunion. On April 21, 2009 Jeff Beck was performing a gig, and Rod Stewart came out to sing with him. This is spectacular because Rod Stewart became Rod Stewart when he sang with the Jeff Beck Group, which also featured future Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood on bass. This was in 1968/69, before Rod and Ronnie split to join the Faces. Enjoy the music. It’s good stuff. Coolest Shit Ever? Maybe.

This clip is neat because:

• Jeff Beck is a complete virtuoso and his band is great
• Rod Stewart has a great voice, even if he’s kind of a pud
• The chemistry between Jeff and Rod is undeniable
