Alloy Orchestra youdopia

This is pretty cool, Youdopia. My cousin, Terry Donahue (the fella on the left) and his band, the Alloy Orchestra, have written and performed the music to a new cartoon. They usually score new music for old silent films, and this is something new for them.  The ‘toon is called Zoot Rumpus, and it’s as yet unsigned.  It seems cute, silly, wacky, and zany enough to entertain the youth of today… with their cell phones, and their hip hop and their nose rings. I wanted to share it with you, because it’s cool, and quite a feat, and I think it’s neat.

  1. Me Likey, Bing boing Bing.

  2. When I was young I often heard stories about cousin Terry from the creator of youdopia. I am pleased to see that Terry stuck with his art and continues to do what he obviously loves. I was just a youth when the stories were shared. I often thought of Terry as a bigger than life character because he was doing what I could only dream of, yet not master. He was an actual musician. I am sure the path he chose was not easy. In fact I know it is not because I have seen the other side of “Show Business” and it is a beautiful disaster. I wish Cousin Terry all the luck.
