I wanted to share these George Harrison videos with you, Youdopia. Why? Because I like you. You got a pretty mouth. I’m tired, and grumpy, so I’m not going to say much, other than Prince kicks ass on My Guitar Gently Weeps, which is at the George Harrison Memorial show. I kind of thought it was over the top, given the vibe, but.. look at Dani, George’s son, who is right behind Prince, and a dead ringer for his dad. The boy is digging it. So, if Prince’s awesome albeit a bit flash, solo made a young man feel better mourning his dad, then okey dokey.

The second video is just plain funny.

  1. Prince did over showboat the show. Prince in the 80′s was an unappreciated guitar player, not until this show did somehow the masses discover his ability. But… it was about George, not about proving to everyone that Prince was a great on guitar. Been a fan since ’84, I dont care, Prince, you should of laid low, and did a nice solo, not overplay, kick the feet, fling the arms, all that showboating Jehovah style overplaying is actually nothing to his roughly 84 – 93 guitar playing which was more passionate and real.

  2. I agree 100%, Modster. Prince had more emotion in the 80′s/early 90′s in my opinion. Thanks for reading and commenting!
