It is (in my mind) as good as cinema gets. Everything about those scenes, w/ Willard and Kurtz was perfect. 

asbolute power corrupts absolutely. When good men get put into impossible situations, or worse.. into ridiculous situations involving life and death, what course is there but madness. 

HAL did the same thing in 2001, and someday soon someone will be doing that in the ungovernable no man&#039;s land of the Afghan/Pakistan border. One day that diamond bullet will strike someone else.</description>
