I lean toward lyrics, singer/songwriter (Dylan, Cracker, Michael Penn) and you have other tastes. The Kinks are not a dealbreaker. I just had this realization as I listened a bunch of albums I found... in the forest... that I liked the Kinks a lot more than I thought. I'm over it now. We differ on a lot of music.
