see more mildly funny facebook stuff!
Hello, Youdopia. I was browsing the site, Failbooking, today, and I found this little ha ha. It’s a chuckle, but not much more. Failbooking is part of the cheezburger empire (as in “I can has”) and I think it’s a sign that the cheezburger is getting cold.
Yesterday I posted a lolcat from two years ago, that still makes me smile today. I have a hard time finding lolcats that funny now. I Can Has Cheezburger has jumped the shark, imo. In following the example of the original shark jumper, it is expanding into multiple spinoffs that make Joanie Loves Chachi look like I, Claudius.
Not that all of their sites suck. No, a couple are funny, but many, many, many are teh lame. Sites and bandwidth are cheap. I used to own over ten sites myself. You spread yourself, and your talent too thinly, and… you lose the funny. Lols are a dime a million on teh interwebs, and time passes at lightspeed. No one gets fifteen minutes anymore. You get fifteen seconds, if you’re really lucky and/or you have a well shot and gruesome death.
Ok. I’m griping like an old man, and all I wanted to do was share a small, small, chuckle with the universe.
