The story behind this is that a cub photographer from Life went to Princeton when Einstein died, and got into Einstein’s office by giving away bottles of scotch. Smart man. There’s an even better pic of Einstein’s desk in the slideshow, along with pics of the casket being removed from his home, and the cemetery. Coolest Shit Ever.
