More Ways To Share

Well, Youdopia, I was taken aback by this story in The Register, say that Google Streetview does more than take pictures. It actually logs all wifi networks, and (here’s the worst part) logs MAC addresses! The MAC address is like a fingerprint. It’s a unique identifier burned in at the factory, and it can identify your pc, your modem, and your router. It is the missing puzzle piece that can tie your name to a specific network, and machine.

It’s way worse than posting naked pictures of you (send me naked pictures of you, please.) because it is like reading your PIN number when you walk through a metal detector. It’s not necessary, and there is NO need for it, other than evil.
