Coolest Shit Ever: A New Season Of Futurama Starts In June 2010

Good news, everyone! Comedy Central bought Futurama from Fox, and is starting a brand new season on June 24th. That is the Coolest Shit Ever, without a doubt, Youdopia.
The reason I haven’t called this the funniest thing ever, is because the recent Futurama movies, written and released after the cancellation, have been (in my opinion) awful. I hope Futurama can again rise to its absurdist heights, and make us laugh and laugh and laugh. We need more of that humor.

Nibbler is cute, for sure. I like the rampant socipathy and cruelty of Bender, although since I’ve been without 420 most of the cartoons just aren’t as funny. The new Futuramas have been garbage, though. Really? Homilies about debt, polyamory, and the environment? Fuck that. Bring back the chronotons, Lrrrr, and doomsday devices…. and popplers.
The recently new Futurama episodes sucked a$$, so I hope these don’t suck as well. (The movie sucked, too). But you know, because I have them all on DVR to watch again and again, how much I love the “old” Futuramas. And yes, Nibbler is a prodigious pooper.
