New Live Led Zeppelin Footage Appears. Tokyo 9/23/71 With Sound. It’s The Coolest

This little gem, a live video from Led Zeppelin’s fabled 1971 tour of Japan, popped up today, Youdopia. It’s watermarked by LedZeppelin.com, and it’s been synced perfectly to the excellent audio. The date is 9/23/71, just six days before the Osaka show I shared with you as a Free Download.
Like most of these 8mm reels, it’s choppy, with fragments of songs, but the quality is very good, and it’s still neat to see Stairway played on its inaugural tour, before it became STAIRWAY. It’s cool to see some of the acoustic set, and Celebration Day, played on the doubleneck, the way god intended.
See the bearded Jimmy Page at the peak of his prowess, and enjoy the live music. It’s the Coolest Shit Ever.
