The Sun is inconceivably big, and unimaginably powerful. Venus is our sister planet (albeit hot enough to melt lead) and much more comprehensible. Nasa teamed up with Science and took pictures of Venus moving in front of the Sun (at least from the perspective of Earth). There’s a whole gallery of amazing images here. You should take a look. There’s not enough wonder in the world, so the wise look outside the confines of our little blue dot to find it (or they look within).
