Pink Floyd Played Wonderfully
In 2005, Pink Floyd played together, for the last time, at Live 8. After 20+ years of bitter recrimination, Roger Waters joins the rest of the boys onstage. And it was great. Roger’s voice sucked, but it was a great set. When they did Comfortably Numb, everybody in the world was happier (which also happened last year when Dave joined Roger again)
Shortly after this Richard Wright passed away, and although Dave Gilmour and Roger Waters have performed together after Live 8… this is the glorious final hurrah of Pink Floyd. They’re all pushing 70 now, the child has grown, the dream is gone.

So take 20 minutes off, sit back, and watch this performance of one of the best bands of all time, playing some of the best songs of all time. You’re worth it. Enjoy the coolest thing ever.

In an amazing feat of synchronicity, not only did you pop into my head this morning (“I wonder how Mark is?”), but I was also watching this Live8 clip, as I have the full DVD set.
That’s wonderful! That is a remarkable synchronicity, and I’m glad I was part of it, along with Pink Floyd.
