There really isn’t anyone else I’ve found who’s blown my mind, through cartoons, like B Kliban.  He’s like the Robert Anton Wilson of cartoon artists. There’s this one cartoon of a caveman about to throw a rock at the moon, that’s just hilarious to the point of infinite regress. Without a doubt, it’s the funniest thing ever.

I remember watching this when it first aired on HBO, back in the early 80′s. I was living in Bedford, NH and one funny night in 1983 (I looked it up) Buddy Hackett made me laugh my ass off.

He joked about homosexuals, and nazis, and jews…. oh it was wonderful. I now realize that nazis were still relevant in 1983, because those folks (of Hackett’s generation) saw it happen.

A lot of this comedy is pretty hackneyed and dated now, but there are some real gems in this. Buddy Hackett was fucking funny! The most famous anecdote about the Tonight Show, the Johnny Carson days, is the legendary joke Buddy told the Tonight Show audience during a commercial break. When the show came back from break, Johnny, Ed, and the audience were all in hysterics, but the folks would never know what was said.

If you’ve got the 74 minutes to kill, you should watch this. It’s the funniest shit ever.

Lou Reed and Metallica. I agree mit der fuhrer, but from the opposite position. I have very little love for Metallica, and any regard I held for them ended… shit 15 years ago? Whenever they decided they needed hits. Lou Reed will gain a certain amount of new fans, and surely won’t lose any, but… Mo Tucker > Lars Ulrich … and she’s a 70 year old woman.

Ethics and etiquette aside, this flowchart is one of the funniest things in the world, and I am a man who likes funny flowcharts.. Maybe it’s because I work for a social network with a million people, and I see this all the time. Maybe it’s just because it’s a perfect rubric for social behavior. It’s mob mentality even though you’re alone. Anyway, it’s the funniest shit ever. Dig it.

You know I love my memes. It’s how I stay young. The Bear Grylls meme has been my favorite for awhile, but Internet Husband came by, all young and hot, and slutty… I couldn’t resist. I ad my dalliance with The Dos Equis Guy, and a tryst with Vengeance Dad (I like them dark)

Very Funny

I was led to Someecards.com by seeing their cards all over Tumblr. One of them finally cracked my armored hide, and made me laugh, so I mush share it with the world.

I don’t give a damn about Google +. I deal enough with metrics, marketing, and social networks enough in my day job (which is also my night job). Anyway, they have ecards for almost every occasion, for real, and their site also has a blog that has funny stuff as well. It’s the Funniest thing ever.
