Boolah Boolah, Youdopia. Great song. Clapton is spending the Sept of his years playing with who he wants. He told Rolling Stone that he always felt like a dick (paraphrasing here) because he pretty much just bailed on Blind Faith, because of drugs/fame. That’s why Clapton went underground (kinda) and went with Derek and the [...]
Youdopia, I want to share one of my favorite songs with you. Mr. Bad Example by Warren Zevon. It is funny, frenetic and fantastic cheesy. The video is from an appearance on Letterman, as if that’s not obvious, but you can hear the original by clicking on the image above. Yes, I love easter eggs. [...]
I wanted to share these George Harrison videos with you, Youdopia. Why? Because I like you. You got a pretty mouth. I’m tired, and grumpy, so I’m not going to say much, other than Prince kicks ass on My Guitar Gently Weeps, which is at the George Harrison Memorial show. I kind of thought it [...]

I love David Lowery, oh my fair Youdopia. He’s the creative voice behind Camper Van Beethoven and Cracker. I found a lovely concert from 1992 on Dime A Dozen, and it made me [...]
Hello Youdopia. I have more ear candy for you. It’s a simple slideshow with audio. The audio is Led Zeppelin in LA on 9/4/70 playing Fats Domino’s Blueberry Hill. 1970 is arguably my favorite live year for Zep. They had three albums out (in two years) and they were ferocious live. They also played tons [...]
Michael Lee, who drummed for Page and Plant on all their reunion albums, and tours, died on the 24th of November. That’s a bummer because he was a joyous drummer who really brought fun to the Page/Plant tours. He played great with Jimmy Page, and they had nice chemistry. This clip is from the [...]
Antony and the Johnsons… The Cripple and the Starfish…
Wow. It’s a super duper party pooper gay… like this gay… song about a good old fashioned S&M relationship. It’s sung by the masochist/pain pig. The singing and delivery make it for me. It’s a live version from last week in Portland, OR. Antony and the Johnsons [...]
I like it. I also like the fact that they’re switching up the playlist as the tour goes on. I can’t say that I love it, stylistically, but damn, it is nice to see some innovation and originality. I do like the celtic/bluegrass sound, and… Robert Plant is sounding great. Yay.
