The crazy cat lady from eHarmony has been making it’s way through teh webs, and you may have seen it already, but what’s clever is the response video created by eHarmony, in reaction. The cat lady video is a spoof. eHarmony doesn’t do videos, and this was just a joke.

What’s cool is that eHarmony replied with humor and good nature. There was no press release or lawyers harumphing about defamation and libel. Nope. Any publicity is good publicity, and eHarmony’s marketing team hit it out of the park. They answered funny with funny. It’s not brilliantly funny, but then it can’t be.

I’m sure eHarmony’s video was created by a committee, vetted by a committee, and then changed at the insistence of legal and/or top execs, until we are left with a pretty funny video with a poor dude in a cat costume. All good, though. Still, collectively, it’s the Funniest Thing Ever.

Hipster Prophet Banksy Paints Christ The Redeemer To Look Like A Bullet Riddled Osama Bin Laden.

I saw this image show up yesterday, on Tumblr. Even though the image is clearly marked as coming from The Poke (the UK version of the Onion), people went apeshit, praising Banksy for pulling off this feat. Granted had Banksy actually used helicopters and modified crop dusting sprayers to transform Christ the Redeemer into Osama Bin Laden, he would be the coolest motherfucker on the planet. Kinda. It’s not that great a joke, or a statement. However it’s a great joke on the part of The Poke. It’s great fake news, and thus the Craziest Thing Ever.

I’ve seen this a million times, Youdopia, but I realize that many of you have not. It’s from the old Andy Richter days on the Conan O’Brien show.  Conan, Max, Andy, and the prop dude perform Led Zeppelin’s Dazed and Confused a la The Song Remains The Same.  By this I mean that all the ridiculous fantasy sequences and all that, from the movie, are represented here as well. If you’ve ever gotten wasted and gone to a midnight showing of The Song Remains The Same, or if you’re a Zeppelin fan, this will make you giggle, thus making it the Funniest Shit Ever. The even have the Jimmy Page bow solo.

Well, Youdopia. I found more of the funniest shit ever for you. I know you enjoy humor, and Twitter is omnipresent these days, so I hope you see the giggles in this clip from College Humor. Twitter is nuts, and it’s remarkably effective. It’s also a perfect place for people (chicks, mostly) to tell you when they’re menstruating, when they’re sad, when they’re eating a bagel, what they’re watching, and what they’re seeing on the ride to work. So, yes. It’s like the rest of life. It’s what you make of it. My lovely wife wrote her own funny Twitter themed blog post. You should read it.

My fellow Youdopians, this is a tad lowbrow, but… Gina Gershon is always funny and sexy, and here is no different.  Sarah Palin may be a MILF, but so what? I want to fuck lots of women, Gina Gershon being one of them, and I’m not going to vote for her. McCain lost points with me over this whole deal. It was a smart choice for snatching some Hillary voters, but… I don’t want to Governor of Alaska running the country if/when McCain succumbs to… simply being in his 70′s. Biden could run the country ably, I think. He’s a prick, kind of, but he’s not a dumb one.
