Today I am featuring a nice little t-shirt with what will become an iconic image of my face. I drew it in Microsoft Paint with my mouse. It was originally my avatar in Basecamp, but I thought it had a certain something, despite my inability to draw. Call it Youdopian Primitive. It is a totem, a fetish, a talisman for the tallyman.

I did it, youdopia. After years of struggle and research, I finally succeeded in blogging about a recently synthesized new element. I present Ununseptium. Rolls off the tongue, doesn’t it? Those wily Russkies (we can call them that again, since Putin got all shirtless and uppity) created element 117. One of the awesome things about it, is that it didn’t instantly disintegrate like it’s shiftless siblings, elements 116 and 118. That’s significant to those who want even more destructive weapons… like the Russkies. Nonetheless, it’s the coolest shit ever, and I still like Russia. Все градом может Русским медведем “. Hello, Youdopia. I was browsing the site, Failbooking, today, and I found this little ha ha. It’s a chuckle, but not much more. Failbooking is part of the cheezburger empire (as in “I can has”) and I think it’s a sign that the cheezburger is getting cold.

Yesterday I posted a lolcat from two years ago, that still makes me smile today. I have a hard time finding lolcats that funny now. I Can Has Cheezburger has jumped the shark, imo. In following the example of the original shark jumper, it is expanding into multiple spinoffs that make Joanie Loves Chachi look like I, Claudius.

Not that all of their sites suck. No, a couple are funny, but many, many, many are teh lame. Sites and bandwidth are cheap. I used to own over ten sites myself. You spread yourself, and your talent too thinly, and… you lose the funny. Lols are a dime a million on teh interwebs, and time passes at lightspeed. No one gets fifteen minutes anymore. You get fifteen seconds, if you’re really lucky and/or you have a well shot and gruesome death.

Ok. I’m griping like an old man, and all I wanted to do was share a small, small, chuckle with the universe.

I almost forgot I started the original Youdopia years ago on Blogspot. If you want to see a higher grade of writing, content, and lols, you can check it out. I had more time, less money, and much more AAAAAHHHHH in my life. But, humor is humor, and a lolcat from 2008 is just as funny (even funnier, the quality of lols has tanked) as a fresh one.
